New Category: Social

Because this site is a work in progress you can expect things to be changing frequently, at least for a while.

I hadn’t intended to promote social media as a resource category but am giving it some thought. I’m not a fan of the whole ’influencer’ phenomenom so I’m not interested in promoting self-made celebrities. In fact, I have a lot of resistance to the notion of celebrities in general. But if individuals are using social media to come out as survivors of abuse, I want to support and highlight that. When the accounts are also promoting the idea that being an abuse survivor doesn’t have to be an impediment to living successful, productive, and creative lives, all the better.
